Support
At East Ayrshire Council we are committed to creating a workplace where all employees are treated with dignity, respect and acceptance. It is the Council’s intention to embed a culture that empowers employees to come forward with concerns. Our
Dignity at Work Policy
aims to ensure a harmonious working environment where employees:
treat each other with dignity,
respect each other’s right to express opinions, and
do not bully, harass, victimise or discriminate against another employee through any type of demeaning behaviour.
East Ayrshire Council will not tolerate inappropriate conduct or behaviour and we encourage communication to prevent such behaviour.
As well as providing these sources of support the Employee Support and Report Hub enables employees to report incidents or behaviour of this nature and tell us what happened in a straightforward way, either anonymously or specifically. If you wish to report an incident please visit the “Report” tab above.
Please note
that an incident between an employee and external party e.g. customer, service user, should be reported under the current
SHE system
. For more information contact your line manager or log an incident at
SHE Assure System
on the Intranet.
